Blog entry #6

There is probably a good amount of things that our country could do in order to help this problem. The number one thing would have to be realize that if they do end up making these changes then its going to hurt our country and our economy. I believe that they need to think about this way before they think about putting robots where they don't belong. Another idea that i have is instead of taking over people jobs with these robots, we should integrate them into the jobs. Instead of taking humans out and taking their job away from them just add in the robots as a little more help. I believe that this could be a big help because in jobs such as construction it could speed up some jobs and make us more efficient while also letting us keep our jobs. Whatever they do they need to realize that we need these people working in order to keep our economy steady and keep fixing all the problems that we have been trying to correct for many years. Anything along these lines would work out well in most situations.

I have been hearing a lot lately about the topic of a good portion of our countries jobs being taken over by robots and computers. I believe that it is a very scary thought especially to the families who depend on these jobs in order to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. Jobs such as truck drivers and cabs could possibly be taken over in the near future but some other jobs i believe will be taken over soon are any type of cleaning jobs, doctors, and even possibly teachers at all levels. You would think that these types of jobs would need to be done by a human but i believe that if technology can do it then someone will want them to teach are children or take care of our loved ones. I really do think that if any of these jobs were to be taken over by robots it would have a large negative affect on our economy when it comes to the lower class families. These jobs are what they do everyday to stay away from going bankrupt and foreclosure. It is already hard for most americans to find a good job but once these robots take over these jobs then it will be close to impossible for someone to find a steady job. We are already trying our best to get our lower class back on their feet and by taking away jobs such as these we will be destroying all of the progress we have already made. Personally i believe that it is already going to be very hard for my generation to get jobs right out of college. If these jobs are taken by robots then what are we supposed to do. All in all i think it would affect our economy and our country as a whole in a very negative way if these jobs were to be taken away from us.

When it comes to how Barack Obama presented his thoughts and ideas on the topic of church and state he was able to use many different strategies in his speech. I believe that he uses a large amount of emotion in this speech. His deep feelings towards the church and faith truly do come out. His stories of how he became a part of the church much later in life than most people had a lot of heart put into it. I personally love when people speak from the heart instead of just saying what they think everyone wants to hear. He never seemed like he was doing this so people would like him, he was doing this for himself while he wanted to put himself out there and show exactly how he felt so that if people chose to vote for him they knew exactly what they were voting for. He is a very emotional person which also shows that when he cares about something he will put every bit of his effort into it. He also puts his personal character into his work. He doesn't go to work pretending to be another person. He is who he is and thats exactly who Obama wants to be. The combination of character and emotions go hand in hand with each other. When someone is speaking to you about feelings or personal topics their own character will show through every time. Obama knew this when he wanted to give this speech and that is what he wanted. He wanted to show people his true character through topics that mean very much to him. He used both of these strategies very well in this speech. He was able to show exactly what he wanted the listeners to see. These types of speeches are the best in my eyes. When a man such as Barack Obama can come up and speak about his own life and his own thoughts on faith and state together is a great sight.

Barack Obama's speech was very well done and straight from the heart. His outlooks on how faith and politics have a very strong connection is very interesting. His outlook of how our government is acting as well as being run needs to change in order to better our country. he states that these changes can't just happen. It needs to be a change in the heart and minds of our government. The idea that church's are doing so much with the little that they have to help as many people as possible is astonishing. They are feeding the hungry and clothing the homeless, yet our government is barely doing anything to help these people. Another large point he makes is that no matter what religion someone follows or even if they don't follow one at all, that we should all still be abel to coincide together in everyday life with no problems. We have to many problems having to do with people fighting over faith and what one believes compared to another. Obama believes that if we can all come together while still fallowing our own faiths but at the same time being on the same page as one another than we can fix a lot of problems. Another large aspect that he thinks more people need to look at is how the separation of church and state has played a critical role in many aspects of our government and our societies. He also states that if we were ever to expel all of the non-christians in the United States than which direction of faith would be go. There are many times of christianity and we need some non-christians in order to keep the balance in our societies. Throughout his whole speech he seems to be speaking from the heart. Not just saying what he thinks people want to hear which shows a lot about his ideas. He wants to show them exactly how he feels and hopefully this will show people how they should start to view the church and faith when it comes to our government.
